When I began working I didn't have a darkroom. But I did have a kitchen that I made into a darkroom at night after the cooking had been done. I put blankets over the windows and brought in my enlarger and the chemicals, and just experimented. It was like playing with a toy. Romek Marber

Through experimentation we can discover a great deal. One learns much more making mistakes and running into problems than when things are easily solved. The interesting part is to do something and expect accidents which one hopes to notice and use to one’s advantage. Romek Marber
